Upon Arrival
When your vehicle arrives at Windrush’s facilities in London or the Cotswolds, our prestige car storage begins with an industry-leading twelve-step induction that leaves no stone unturned. You’ll be reassured by the close eye we keep on paperwork, with your car’s condition documented (with receipt issued), its keys tagged, and a record created with a unique ID.
Having applied interior protection, we’ll then treat your vehicle to a washing process unlike any other, ensuring there’s no risk of corrosion while your car is in our care. Whereas most car storage facilities stop there, we also prepare the mechanicals, checking and optimising engine fluid levels, battery health and tyre pressures, applying brakes to remove wash flash rust from discs and drums, hooking up a CTEK battery conditioner and carefully sliding a drip tray beneath to monitor any potential fluid loss. Only once your car has air-dried for a full 24 hours will we finally place it into its own individual storage bay beneath a soft, breathable cover. And that’s just the start.

Even then, your vehicle won’t just sit in stasis. Our prestige car storage includes a battery charger and drip tray inspection every week, a full run-up to temperature every 60 days – and a close eye on every facet of your car’s manufacturer-recommended servicing schedule.
