Windrush Car Storage offer the next stage in valeting which is referred to in the trade as ‘detailing'.

Detailing is where the existing condition of the exterior or interior of a vehicle are enhanced or corrected depending on the amount of time spent on the area in question and the prior condition. Specialists products can then applied to preserve, protect and enhance the overall finish.

The amount of time spent on a vehicle can be anything from one day to enhance condition, or multiples of days to correct the overall condition of a vehicle.

Enhancement detailing usually takes 1-2 days depending on the existing condition. The wheels, engine bay, bodywork, door shuts and interior can be intensely cleaned or 'detailed' to improve vehicle appearance using specialist techniques, tools and products.

Correction detailing is where the vehicle would be intensely cleaned as above but then more time is spent expertly measuring paint thickness, machine polishing the paintwork to remove surface scratches, swirls and marring. There are a number of people who offer this service with poor results. We only use a professional who has many years of experience, as this really is a fine art. This process can take 2-5 days depending on size and prior condition of each vehicle. The results simply speak for themselves.

Protection. After detailing, products are chosen and applied to specifically work best with your individual vehicle to protect and preserve the new finish. This is not a one-size fits all by any means as there are many different paint and surface types depending on type and age of the vehicle. Only the best and most suitable products for your particular vehicle are offered.

Other services. There are a number of services, which we offer to further enhance the existing condition of a vehicle. For example, paint repairs, interior repairs, alloy wheel refurbishment and paintless dent removal.
